As soon as September rolls around, everyone with a pumpkin spice obsession starts going into withdraws. MUST HAVE ALL THINGS PUMPKIN! Though pumpkin is great and all, you still need to keep an eye on the nutritional value of the delicious pumpkin creation you are consuming. Here are some healthy hacks for your pumpkin spice obsession.
- Ditch that pumpkin muffin and pick hearty oatmeal with pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice.
- Ditch that pumpkin soup and pick pumpkin chili
- Ditch that pumpkin spice latte and pick a post-workout pumpkin pie smoothie
- Ditch those pumpkin pancakes and pick pumpkin protein pancakes
- Ditch pumpkin cream cheese and pick pumpkin hummus
- Ditch the pumpkin pie and pick greek yogurt with pumpkin puree.
- Ditch pumpkin ravioli and pick pumpkin marinara sauce on zoodles from a Fit Foodie Finds.
